The IBT course is a 40-hour course required for obtaining the International Behavior Therapist certification from the IBAO.
The International Behavior Analysis Organization (IBAO) is the organization that provides international behavior analysis certifications focused on ensuring ethical practice that protects consumers by ensuring that those working in the field of ABA maintain appropriate educational standards.
This Find Your Impact course is a hybrid IBT course where the online materials are delivered on the Find Your Impact platform, and the live sessions are delivered by a local course instructor.

An International Behavior Therapist
IBTs provide behavior services to clients in a variety of settings. Many IBTs work with Autistic individuals or with individuals with other special needs. IBTs often work on teams with behavior analysts and other behavior therapists, as well as other specialist. IBTs implement the behavior plans designed by IBAs.
IBTs must have a designated IBA supervisor. In other words, after taking this course and becoming certified, you cannot work independently. You will always need an IBA to oversee your work.
The project was funded by an ABAI Society for the Advancement of Behavior Analysis (SABA) Grant.
